Commissioned by MTNA in celebration of the Year of Collaborative Music – 2011, this spirited and jazzy ensemble is inspired by the birthplace of jazz, The Crescent City; (a New Orleans' nickname). The piece is scored for piano, oboe, and bassoon, with optional parts for cello and flute.
