How to use this site

The Students Chamber Music Project exists to assist teachers in creating quality chamber music experiences for students. Because it is difficult for any one teacher to understand the student capabilities on instruments that the teacher is unfamiliar with we have created guidelines to evaluate the level of each part in a chamber work. The most basic way to use this site is to select the instruments you have in a student group and then select the level of the students. While "level" is certainly a very subjective term not simply because students progress at difference rates, but also because some students may be skilled in some ways while other students are skilled in others. Nevertheless, as a general starting place, a teacher can get a set of scores which they can evaluate more closely to see if those scores fit their student ensemble. At a more advanced level, this database offers teachers the opportunity to search for music by a few other characteristics such as region and composer identity. We hope that users will also consider adding their own compositions and arrangements and have endeavored to make the cataloguing process as quick and easy as possible. Simple click "Add a Song" and enter just a few required fields and hit "upload." For music that is not in the public domain we ask that you simply put a link to a reliable source where the music may be purchased. FAQ Why isn't there a to search for mixed ability ensembles in a more specific way? I don't agree with the levels of [insert instrument/level]? I believe the information of a particular song is inacurate. Where do I provide that feedback?
